What I’m Grateful For

I am thankful for the people in the manufacturing companies who carefully pack the product to ship it to us. I am thankful for all the ways the products get to us and even if they are created in another country, with the wonders of different forms of transportation they get to our warehouse.
I am thankful for the many ways there are for people to enjoy their sexuality together or with a partner or a group of loving people. I am grateful for the wonderful writers, bloggers, movie directors, actors, actresses and teachers such as Dr. Carol Queen and Dr. Charlie Glickman who provide education and different ways to show us how to express our sexuality.
I am grateful for all the dedicated and enthusiastic SESAs (Sex Educator Sales Associate-which I am one) who continue to educate and connect with our customers so they continue to shop in our stores and make their sex lives fun and exciting.
I am especially grateful for our founder, Joni Blank, who had the vision to create Good Vibrations that got the ball running and raised the consciousness about sex toys and adult toy stores.
And of course, I am very grateful for our loyal customers. Because of you, Good Vibrations is still here after 30 years and as we move forward, will continue to grow.
Thanksgiving is not just a holiday of eating turkey – or To-furkey for all you vegetarians out there — watching the Macy’s day Parade or various foot ball games, it is also a day to celebrate everything in our lives that we are forever grateful. They say that we are all connected in some way and the more we focus on what I am thankful for, the more of that we receive.
So this year besides celebrating the 10 years my husband and I have been together, our 4-legged kids, good health and my sense of humor when I see the changes my body goes through, I am going to continue to be grateful for all the men and women who continue to keep Good Vibrations successful…l and grateful that in 2006, Courtney, the manager at the Polk Street store decided to take a chance on a 40-something year old and hired me.
