Votergasm
By Red Delicious • Oct 15th, 2008 • Category: Politics, Sex WorkersI came across this great website a while back… Votergasm.com. It encourages people to vote by asking people to give and withhold sexual activity from voters and non-voters, respectively. There are 3 levels of pledging: the first calls for voters to abstain from sex with non-voters for a week after presidential elections. The second asks voters to not only abstain from sex with non-voters for one week after elections but also to make sure to have sex with another voter on elections night. Lastly the highest pledge is to have sex with another voter on the night of the elections, and also to abstain from sex with non-voters for not one week, but four whole years until the next presidential election.
The site is outdated and only speaks the the last presidential election, which I find a little sad, but, I encourage you anyway, to take a gander at the site, considering making a pledge if only to yourself, and get your sexy self to the polls on November 4th. This could very easily be the most important election of your life.
Happy Voting!

P.S. Make sure to read up on Prop K as well! It’s about time sex workers get the safety and support they deserve.

Rad! I spread the word about Prop K: http://blog.goodvibes.com/2008/09/29/sf-supports-sex-workers-prop-k/
I just noticed that the League of Pissed Off Voters seem a little undecided about Prop K. Let’s all let them know what we think!
