Having dated both men and women, my personal preference for either sex is to be shaved. I’m not too fussy though. I don’t need bare skin from navel to knee. However, well trimmed pubes on top with shaved bits below is lovely. From the giver’s perspective, on a woman, having a shaved vulva makes the act of going down effortless and enjoyable. On a man, a shaved scrotum and penial base dramatically increase the lickable space. It has also been reported to me by both sexes that shaved skin feels better when it’s licked, and I can certainly attest to that in terms of having my shorn skin orally lavished. My boyfriend used to squirm like a fish on a ship deck when I would run my tongue all around the base of penis, balls and taint. He said the latter was especially sensitive after shaving.

From what my informal efforts have yielded, the men I asked said that pube shaving leads to irritation and rash. However, no one report that outcome with genital maintenance. My respondents said they prefer to trim the pubes, and shave the rest. Perhaps something to think about?
