More Awards, and more Sasha Grey
By Kuono • Jan 16th, 2008 • Category: PornIn the last post about AVN winners, I failed to mention some other titles that Good Vibes carries, including some of the stars who won Performer of the Year, who appear in a BUNCH of titles. I also didn’t talk enough about my crush, Sasha Grey.
Black Reign Series (Mercenary Pictures) won Best Ethnic-Themed Series (Black). Mercenary Pictures is owned by Lexington Steele who is a fucking powerhouse (literally, appearing in over 500 titles and receiving AVN’s Performer of the Year award 3 times). Besides Mercenary Pictures, Steele has developed over 10 side productions, including Black Viking (for gay audiences) and even his own sex toys.
Other awards include performers who appear in a bunch of titles that we carry. To see which videos, click on the performers’ names. Best New Starlet Bree Olson, Stormy Daniels won the Jenna Jameson Crossover Star of the Year award. Unsung Starlet of the Year went to Gianna, Male Performer of the Year went to Evan Stone. And finally, Female Performer of the Year went to Sasha Grey.
I love Sasha Grey. Talk about sexy, the Godard fan knows exactly what she wants and is making some pretty strong choices in how she goes about getting it. I don’t even know where to start. In a nutshell, she’s the IT girl in the industry. And she’s only 19. After a little over a year of work appearing in thousands of films beginning the second she turned 18, and having appeared in hundreds of interviews (some well done and others incredibly stupid).
