And the awards go to…

I’m dying to hear bloggers Misty or Judah Maccabee’s account on how it all went down. The two were there for the convention, and I hear there was some schmoozing with some of my biggest porn idols.
Wish I could have been there. Instead I was home visiting my family. In the meantime, I did see AVN’s announcement about the winners. Here’s a recap… I hope Judah Maccabee or Misty can help to fill us in on the events.
Coming Home (Wicked Pictures) won Best Overall Marketing Campaign for an Individual Project, and leading men Brad Armstrong was awarded Best Actor (Video) and Barrett Blade Best Supporting Actor (Video).
Babysitters (Digital Playground) was awarded Best All-Girl Sex Scene (Video) with stars Sophia Santi, Alektra Blue, Sammie Rhodes, Angie Savage & Lexxi Tyler. It also won Best Vignette Release, as well as Best Oral Sex Scene (Video) by Sasha Grey, who appears in the Best High End All-Sex Release Broken (Teravision/Vivid) and who also happened to be awarded Female Performer of the Year.
Fashionistas Safado: Berlin (Evil Angel) won Best Group Sex Scene for Video with stars Annette Schwartz, Sintia Stone, Judith Fox, Vanessa Hill & Rocco Siffredi. The video also was awarded Best High-Definition Production, Best Art Direction, Best Director (John Stagliano who also won best Editing), and Best Three-way Sex Scene with Katsuni, Melissa Lauren & Rocco Siffredi.
Debbie Does Dallas … Again (Vivid Entertainment Group) was awarded Best Group Sex Scene for Film with stars Stefani Morgan, Savanna Samson, Monique Alexander, Evan Stone, Christian & Jay Huntington and also won an award for Best On-Line Marketing Campaign, for an Individual Project. It also was awarded Top Renting Title of the Year.
The Craving (Wicked Pictures) won two awards, Best Anal Sex Scene (Film) with stars Chelsie Rae & Tyler Knight, and Best Art Direction (Film).
Tera Patrick’s Teravision was honored with Best Cinematography for Fashion Underground (Teravision/Vivid), and tied for Best Interactive DVD for InTERActive (Teravision/Hustler Video).
Other awards went to Best Music for Afrodite Superstar (Femme Chocolat/Adam & Eve Pictures), Best Supporting Actor for Film went to Randy Spears for Flasher (Vivid Entertainment Group) and Best Packaging to Janine Loves Jenna (Club Jenna/Vivid).
Good Vibrations’ own Rondee Kamins (of General Video of America) was awarded the Reuben Sturman Awards.
