Another feral feline speaking up here! Most of the time, I actually prefer sex without any background music. The sound of my partner’s pants and moans are more than enough to set the mood for me.

Although, if I do want something musical, I really like some good ol’ ambient or tribal techno. Something with a really heavy, primal bass beat that really makes me throw my head back and scream.

Good sex, regardless of whether it’s an animalistic romp or a seductive, slow grind, is all about passion.

Enya’s music is not about passion; it never has been. To me, it’s modern musical impressionism. She is trying to transport the listener to a calmer place where stresses are unknown, and no one ever cries out for Calgon to take them away.

The problem is that for good, passionate sex to happen, both parties need to be present and engaged in the moment, not on some ethereal plane replete with synthesized strings and over-processed vocal tracks. For this reason, Enya sex never worked for me, but, then again, neither did Enya.
