“I liked it because I love all the sounds of sex, and it was so well-written, I could almost hear that naughty Southern boy. Thanks for the enjoyable trip down memory lane, going to drag my husband to bed now!”

“This story reminds me of my boyfriend. We both love it when he talks dirty, and it always pushes me over the edge.”

Honorable Mentions:

Business and Pleasure by Emerald—

“I like the way that the female main character is in charge. She doesn’t hesitate to demand what she wants. I also like the surprise in the ending.”

Sarah’s Find by G. Allen—

“This story makes me wish it had happened to me. Perhaps it still will, someday!!”

Sex and Coffee by Anastasia—
read it here!

“My favorite story for 2006 is the only one that didn’t ’show’ explicit fucking, Sex and Coffee. Sometimes the foreplay is sufficient, offering the reader an end they can continue in their own private time. The lead up and partial sex left me throbbing. I like it as it related two ordinary people in ordinary jobs, and I related to the male in the story. I work in a bistro by day, and fix many coffees and there are a few favorite girls that I admire from afar. After reading Sex & Coffee I created my own alternative endings or possibilities to arrive to a climax. It enhanced my personal fantasies. I didn’t think much of my job, work it to pay tuition fees, but now I look at the women I fancy while they wait for their skim cappuccinos and explore the possibility or potential of them being like the female character in Sex and Coffee.”

Safe from Harm by Simone Dunn—

“I came right along with ‘Safe from Harm’! Awesome story and excellent pace! The ending pushed me over the edge!”

Local Roomie Makes Good by Jack Duarte—

“I liked that the woman was in charge, and she had fun in that role.”

On Fire by Sarah Clark (from 2002)—

“OK, so …I couldn’t decide, but I DO have an all time favorite that I read over and over. Maybe it’s because it was the first time I discovered the online site, maybe it’s because I have a thing for firefighters, maybe it was the writing ,but for whatever reason, it’s a story I go back to time and time again, and I’d love to read more from her…It is HOT. Thanks for letting me share my opinion, and I do like all the stories printed, but this is my all time favorite so I had to vote for it, otherwise I’d be voting for second choice.”

  1. OMG, I have been in love with “A Girl’s Best Friend” *FOREVER*–it always gets me *so* hot…
One of the first re-reads for me on GV.
    I know, I know–it’s from 2001 and so
doesn’t qualify for the contest, but still…

  2. Wow…firstly I’d like to thank Good Vibes for publishing my story (Sex & Coffee). It’s difficult to gauge how readers may react to a story, but this is something that will have me smiling for days.
