Fine German Engineering: Say “Guten Tag” to the new Sinful Vibes
By Judi B. • Mar 15th, 2006 • Category: View from the Topby Judi B. I love my car. Ask anyone and they will tell you that I’m a bit of a freak about it. But, I can’t help it….it’s black, fast and I love the way it handles. It’s a fine example of German machinery, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world (except for an early 60’s Porsche 356, but hey, that’s German too!).
My eyes widened as she first showed me the beautiful, smooth, black silicone vibrator. “Wow,” I said as I grabbed it from her. “Wait to you see this,” she said as she pulled out the rechargeable base. “Holy cow,” I said. The base, made of molded plastic, resembles a vulva. Not in a vulgar way, but in a very stylized, artistic way. It almost looks like this is unintentional, but I’m sure it’s not.
“No, this is the real toy.” She explains that it is inductive. I’m not sure what this means so I look it up: in·duc·tive (in-duk’tiv) Okay, that doesn’t help me too much, but I’m okay with not knowing exactly how this toy gets its juice. I do know that there is an internal battery that is recharged when the “joystick” goes into the hole, and the base is plugged in. The vibe can live in its docking station, and even maintains some warmth when it does.
Okay, so remember that I get to see a lot of toys here at GV, and I must say, the Sinful Vibes are my favorites this season, for sure. I mean, a rechargeable, waterproof, strong vibe with a joystick and a vulva-shaped base? Yes, please, I’ll take one. Just for fun, I compare the features of the Sinful Vibes and my car: SINFUL VIBES VS. GTI 1.8
The Sinful Vibes are available in three models. Reality is my personal favorite. It has a realistic shape, and smooth texture. It’s a beautiful matte black with gray details. Intensity has pronounced ripples up and down its shaft and is ivory with raspberry-bordeaux base. Phantasy has ripples on its shaft as well and is orange with red details. All of the Sinfuls have a slight curve for G-spot stimulation. To check out all of the Fun Factory toys Good Vibrations carries go to: http://goodvibes.com/funfactory/ Auf Wiedersehen! |

The first time I saw the Sinful Reality Vibe, I was reminded of my little black car. The toy buyer was over at my desk with a box of new toys (I’m lucky enough to get to write up new products…so I get to see them first!) and said, “check out these new rechargables.”
“This is a mock-up, right?” I ask. At the base of the vibrator is what looks like a joystick. The base has a hole in which this joystick goes into (mmm, naughty!), but all of these parts are plastic. There is no metal. This rechargeable base can’t be functional, I think.
The “joystick” is also the speed and vibration controller. Once the vibe is turned on (one-touch button) the joystick can be pushed up and down-pushing “up” changes the speed of vibration, from low to super-strong: pushing “down” changes the pulsation. Whether you like good ol’ plain, steady vibrations or the excitement of up-and-down whirls, this vibe can give it to you.
Not a bad deal at $149.00, as the Sinful Vibes work while totally emerged under water, and the GTI does not. They can also fit inside a motel room, on a plane and in your nightstand. The GTI can’t come into your bedroom, and even if it could, it would get grease on your carpet.
